Krrish 3's Fudged Box Office Collections

The debacle surrounding the box office of income of Krrish 3 is one of 2013's most infamous scandals. With Dhoom 3 seeking a release next week, Koimoi asked the opinion of film's lead actor Aamir Khan on the same.

The perfectionist actor retorted saying, "Numbers have been getting fudged since forever. There is nothing new about it. But if one decides to manipulate figures they are fooling themselves. There is no merit in doing that."

The actor continued saying, "The best yardstick to see how your film has fared is to check how many weekends has the film run. A film that is heavily performed will earn for multiple weekends. In my opinion it shows how consistently the film has earned."

Dhoom 3 is a slick action film that also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and glam doll Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The movie is all set to hit the screens on 20th December, 2013.

Arjun Rampal trashes reports about involvement in Hrithik-Sussanne split

Actor Arjun Rampal, who was rumoured to be the cause of the Hrithik Roshan-Sussanne Roshan split, has broken his silence and issued a statement saying that he is deeply saddened by rumours of his involvement in the marriage.

After Hrithik issued a formal statement on Friday, announcing that his wife had decided to end their seventeen-year relationship, it was reported that Sussanne's proximity to Rampal could be the reason for the couple's separation.

In the statement, Rampal says, " It is very sad when friends close to you take a decision to separate. These are the hardest times for them and we must be sensitive to towards this decision, rather than creating speculation and rumours. இப்போட்டியை பஞ்சாப் முதல்வர் பிரகாஷ் சிங் பாதல், துணை முதல்வர் சுக்பீர் சிங் பாதல் மற்றும் பாலிவுட் நடிகர் ரன்வீர் சிங் ஆகியோர் கண்டுரசித்தனர். பாகிஸ்தான் பஞ்சாப் முதல்வர் ஷாபாஸ் ஷரீப்பும் இப்போட்டியை கண்டு ரசித்தார்.

பாகிஸ்தான் ஆட்ட தொடக்கத்திலேயே முதலாவதாக ஒரு புள்ளியை எடுத்து அசத்தியது. இதையடுத்து சிறப்பாக விளையாடிய இந்தியா ஒரு கட்டத்தில் 9-7 என்ற முன்னிலை பெற்றது. பின்னர் பாகிஸ்தான் இரு புள்ளிகளை பெற்று 9-10 நிலையை எட்டியது. இதனால் மைதானம் மிகவும் அமைதியானது.

இரு அணியினரும் சிறப்பாக விளையாடியதால், ஆட்டமும் மிகவும் விருவிருப்படைந்தது. ஆட்டத்தின் இடைவேளையில் 22-19 என்ற புள்ளிகளை பெற்று இந்தியா முன்னிலை பெற்றது. இந்திய அணியை தொடர்ந்து பாகிஸ்தான் வந்ததால், ஆட்டத்தில் ரசிகர்களின் கரகோஷம் ஒலித்துக்கொண்டே இருந்தது.

இந்திய அணி 48-39 என்ற நிலையில் இருந்தபோது ஆட்டம் முடிவுற்றது. இதையடுத்து இந்தியா தொடர்ந்து 4-வது முறையாக உலகக்கோப்பையை கைப்பற்றியுள்ளது. இந்திய அணிக்கு இரண்டு கோடி ரூபாய் பரிசளிக்கப்பட்டது.

எப்போதும் போல் எளிமையான உடையில் தரிசனத்துக்காக வந்து தூணின் மேல் சாய்ந்து அமர்ந்திருந்த ரஜினிகாந்துக்கு அந்த பெண்ணின் செயல் அதிர்ச்சியை அளித்தது. இருப்பினும், அதை வெளிப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாத ரஜினிகாந்த் அந்த 10 ரூபாயை வாங்கிக்கொண்டு அமைதியாக கோயிலுக்குள் சென்றார்.

சிறுது நேரம் கழித்து தரிசனம் முடிந்ததும் தனது காரை நோக்கி தனக்கே உரித்தான மிடுக்கான நடையில் அவர் சென்றபோது அவரை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொண்ட அந்த பெண் நடந்த தவறுக்காக ரஜினிகாந்திடம் வருத்தம் தெரிவித்து மன்னிப்பு கேட்டார்.

கடந்த திங்கட்கிழமை அன்று மாலை யாஹூ இணையதளத்தின் சேமிப்பு மையத்தில் ஏற்பட்ட ஒரு ஹார்ட்வேர் பிரச்சினையால் யாஹூ மெயில் செயலிழந்துபோனது. 280 மில்லியன் பயனாளர்கள் கொண்ட இந்த இணையதளத்தின் செயலிழப்பு அதன் மூன்று மில்லியன் உறுப்பினர்களைப் பாதித்ததாகத் தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. இதனால் வெறுப்புற்ற பயனாளர்கள் தங்கள் கோபத்தை டுவிட்டர், பேஸ்புக் மற்றும் பிற ஊடகங்கள் மூலம் வெளிப்படுத்தினர். மின்னஞ்சல்களைப் பெறவோ, அனுப்பவோ முடியவில்லை என்பது பலரின் குற்றச்சாட்டாக இருந்தது.

திங்கட்கிழமை அன்றே தொழில்நுட்பப் பிரிவு இதனைச் சரி செய்ய முயன்றபோதும் பிரச்சினை எதிர்பார்த்ததைவிட பெரியதாக இருந்ததால் உடனே சரி செய்ய இயலவில்லை என்று யாஹூ நிறுவனத்தின் தலைமைச் செயல் அதிகாரி மரிஸ்ஸா மேயர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். தங்கள் பயனாளர்களைக் கை விட்டதற்கும், வெறுப்புற வைத்ததற்கும் அவர் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டுள்ளார். நேற்று மதியம்தான் இந்த நிலைமை சீராக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் இந்த நிலைமை தொடர்ந்து கண்காணிக்கப்படும் என்றும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.

இந்தப் பிரச்சினைகள் துரதிர்ஷ்டவசமானவை என்றபோதிலும், யாஹூவின் மெயில் பயன்பாடுகளின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை அவை வெளிப்படுத்தின. இந்த சேவையை மேம்படுத்துவதன் மூலமே புதிய பயனாளர்களை அந்நிறுவனம் ஈர்க்க முடியும் என்ற கருத்தை இந்த சம்பவம் எடுத்துக்காட்டியது. ஆனால் இந்தப் பிரச்சினை தொடங்கும் முன்னரே கடந்த அக்டோபர் மாதம் யாஹூ நிறுவனம் வெளியிட்ட ஒரு மறுவடிவம் அதன் பயனாளர்களிடம் வரவேற்பைப் பெறவில்லை என்று கூறப்படுகின்றது.

Aamir Khan says he is open to do Marathi films

Mumbai: Bollywood actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan says he is open to do Marathi films as long as the scripts offered to him are interesting.

"I can get along well with Marathi. If I get a good script, why not," he said here.

"Language has never been a barrier for me. I have learnt Marathi, so it will help my Marathi (speaking skills), but that's not why I will do a Marathi film. The material has to excite me," he added.

On the Bollywood front, Aamir will next be seen in "Dhoom: 3", releasing Dec 20 .

Priyanka Gandhi as congree leader

The BJP today said that Congress is left with no option but to project Priyanka Gandhi as its leader and face of the party.

"The Congress family has this habit that if one person from the family fails they project the other one...now Congress has no option left other than projecting Priyanka Gandhi as their main leader and the face of the Congress party," Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Rameshwar Chaurasia said here.

Terming Aam Aadmi Party leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Yogendra Yadav and his party as agents of Congress for 20 years, Chaurasia asked why Kejriwal was not transferred out of Delhi and he served as an income tax officer in the national capital for a very long period.

To a question about the future of AAP, Chaurasia said "Many small and regional parties have been on the scene for a short period of time and later disappeared, AAP will also disappear in few years".

BJP MLA from Varanasi Ravindra Jaiswal said that party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally scheduled for December 20 will be held at Khajuri village and a letter informing the District Magistrate about the same and asking for high-level security has been sent.

Around five lakh people are expected to attend the rally, Jaiswal said.
