Trisha happens to be the first celebrity in Kollywood who has voiced open support for same-sex couples after the Supreme Court had held recently that same-sex marriages were 'crime' and would be declared 'null and void'. Many Bollywood celebrities and politicians have come out openly supporting the cause of the same-sex gay and lesbian couples. Following Delhi High Court's ruling a few years back that same-sex marriages weren't a crime, many such couples had started 'living together' in Delhi and other metros and some other towns. However, the Supreme Court's decision has shocked all of them who now have nowhere to hide. Trisha has her own opinion on the issue. "Ours is a democratic country a person can be friendly with anybody and can have many number of friends. It's the preference of the individual. Same way, nobody can compel that a particular individual should have sex only with another particular individual. Having sex or not is purely an individual's preference and in this issue, he/she shouldn't be forced to have partners as per others' liking," she has said. Kollywood is yet to react to Trisha's daring support of the same-sex community.

It was followed by a stupendous collections on the following day too. The most interesting factor is that the Hindi film has done a rocking business at TN Box Office! Tamil Nadu has never been a good market for Hindi films. It is only in the recent years, some of the Hindi flicks have done decent business. The movies starring Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan did decent business. Now, Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 has erased all those records, as it has written a new history at collection centres in Tamil-speaking state. Trader reports say that Dhoom 3 raked in Rs 1.63 crores (Nett) from Tamil Nadu and Kerala Box Office. Sources say that from Tamil Nadu, it has earned more than Rs 50 lakhs on the first day. This figure is big by any margin for a Hindi flick in the Southern state. A trader claims, "Aamir Khan's movies did not get such reception in the past. His Ghajini and 3 Idiots had garnered decent response and his Taare Zameen Par did perform well at multiplexes." He adds, "His Dhoom 3 has turned out to be a superhit in Tamil Nadu too. When will Ranbir Kapoor get married to Katrina Kaif?

Film or no film, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is always in news.

If it's not about her looks, it has to be her link-up with Ranbir Kapoor - no never her acting skills.

Her marriage rumours have made more headlines than her movie.

While Ranbir has always maintained that he is single until he gets hitched, we wonder if the actress is trying to get her beau to finally make the commitment.

Couple of weeks ago actor Ranbir Kapoor graced Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' with cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Ranbir was thoroughly grilled about his rumoured relationship with Katrina. Both Karan and Kareena seemed determined to get Ranbir to admit his love before the episode was over.

But the Kapoor boy survived the day and kept mum about his relationship status. All he did was - blush, smile and blush more.

Though cousin Kareena is all set to dance on her cousin's wedding, the apparent bride-to-be is amused with these developments.

Confronting the media Katrina said Kareena's comments were made in jest.

In a recent interview to a leading publication Katrina clarified that Ranbir has not even proposed her.

The two are certainly in a very comfortable zone, going on vacation, attending events and gracing parties together.

So what's stopping Ranbir to pop the question?

And why are they being so discreet about their "so-clear-to-the-world" relationship?

Katrina replied, "Being in love and being in a relationship are two different things. A relationship which is not fully committed to, or which has not yet reached a culmination is something I believe you should be discreet about. And I have always tried to be discreet about what's in my life."

Hmmm! We wonder who is not committed here and why have they have not reached a culmination.

Now even Katrina is not ready to leave her 'unmarried tag'.

Talking about marriage plans Katrina said she doesn't know whether she will get married in the next five, 10 or 20 years, or ever. She is not willing to speculate about future.

Since Ranbir is not going down on his knees; Katrina might be holding back from making any plans, don't you think so?

But she accepts that Ranbir is an extremely important part of her life.
